In the end of the Summer 2021, a new unbelievable opportunity was offered to me : I embarked for an expedition to the top of the world ! I can´t describe the feeling I had when I saw the ice again after one and a half year stuck on land because of the covid-19 pandemic. On our way to the pole, we had several amazing polar bear encounters and on September 6th at 10:38 am UTC+2, we became the first French ship to reach 90° of latitude North. What an emotion it was to share this historical moment with the crew ! We stayed two days to train on the sea ice and prepare the activities for the future passengers before heading South again. On our way back, we had one more polar bear encounter, which made 7 in total on the trip !
